About The Game
Faster Than Light is a unique rogue-like space sim in which your ship and crew will experience incredible adventures in a randomly generated galaxy where glory can be expected , and the bitterness of defeat!
The old federation cruiser Kestrel, which is given to us at the beginning of Faster Than Light, calls to mind the Vindicator. The crew of the cruiser managed to get important information about the strategic plans of the rebels, and now we need to connect with the main forces of the federation – and they, as expected, have entrenched themselves almost on the other side of the galaxy. Therefore, the Kestrel has a long way to go from system to system and from sector to sector. And in each system, some kind of adventure, inconvenience or trouble awaits us – which, in principle, is the same thing.
In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It’s a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This “spaceship simulation roguelike-like” allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.
