About The Game

Wasteland 2 is the direct sequel to 1988’s Wasteland, the very first post-apocalyptic computer RPG that inspired the legendary Fallout series. Before Wasteland, no other CRPG allowed you to control individual party members for tactical purposes or give you the ability to make important decisions that would change the game world. Wasteland was the first game to take a non-linear approach to problem solving, full of solutions and their consequences, throwing away the traditional single-solution approach of other games to give players the opportunity to solve all problems in the way they prefer.
Wasteland 2 retained the Wasteland innovation and simply updated it to modern standards. Test your strategic skills in turn-based battles as you try to survive in a desert world where not everything can be solved by force alone. Arm your rangers with the most powerful weapons this side of the fallout and prepare for maximum destruction, with role-playing progression and character customization that made the first Wasteland so much fun. Save an ally from certain death or let him die – the choice is yours, but the consequences are also on your head.

Features of Director’s Cut :
The basis of the version was the transition to the Unity 5 engine and the abandonment of Unity 4.5, thanks to which Wasteland 2 received fresh visual effects, improved character models, physics-based shaders, updated environmental objects, as well as realistic shading and lighting models. New voice acting, an improved character customization system thanks to new perks and individual traits (Quirks), as well as slightly reworked combat mechanics.
