F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon is the first game in the F.E.A.R. series, a first-person shooter psychological horror video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Vivendi Universal. The game was released on October 18, 2005, for Microsoft Windows, and ported to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

About the game
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands.
