Orwell is a new government security program that monitors the Internet activity of all citizens. She can get into any computer and get unlimited access to private correspondence. To protect the privacy of citizens, the Orwell program filters the information received and transmits only part of the data to the security service.
You are the first person selected from thousands of applicants to work with the Orwell program. When a series of terrorist attacks occur in the capital of the country, Bonton, you and Orwell are immediately called into action. The security service asks you to help compile and work through a list of suspects, giving you one single clue.
Are the people on the list really terrorists? What does the data you feed Orwell say about them? What if you find out something about them that even their families don’t know? What is the true cost of the security the country craves?
