About The Game

Ministry of Broadcast is a single-player platformer with a cinematic story that combines the atmosphere of Orwell’s 1984 with elements of modern reality television. Full of black humor, sarcasm and the absurdity of the system as such!

As if overnight, the Wall that grew up divided the country in two, cutting off a person from his family. To see his family again, our red-haired hero decides to become a participant in the government TV show “The Wall,” which gives contestants the opportunity to get to the other side and find freedom. But, going through the obstacles of the camp, the guy soon understands exactly how the Regime and this show works. The promise of freedom turns out to be not what it seemed.

Inspired by legends such as Prince of Persia (1989) and Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus (1998), Ministry of Broadcast revives the spirit of classic cinematic platformers, requiring players to run and jump with agility and a healthy desire to avoid falling from heights. To help the hero gain freedom and see his family, you have to guide him through all the arenas of the reality show under the vigilant control of the mechanical eye of the Regime. You will find many dangerous, dilapidated locations with a lot of obstacles: steep descents (you’re not afraid of heights, are you?), flaming barrels of garbage (very smelly, very hot), inconveniently located pits with stakes (where would you be without them), sagging iron beams (all rusty) ). But will all this help you understand the fates of those you meet along the way?..
