About The Game

Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass is a game made in jRPG style by one guy from Texas. It was heavily influenced by SNES-era games such as Earthbound, Final Fantasy 5, and the Breath of Fire series. The late Yume Nikki also had a big influence.

The game takes place in the dream of an 8-year-old boy. The dream world and his family begin to be threatened by an alien creature that suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and Jimi sets off on his journey to deal with the Pulsating Mass and save his family. On his way, he will have to face his fears and expel nightmarish creatures from his subconscious, and his family will help him in this.
