About The Game

You are a general and you are hiding in an underground bunker. Your task is to destroy the civilian population of the enemy, while protecting your own. Use warships, submarines and bombers to break through enemy defenses. Form alliances, but remember: only one can be the winner. Strike preemptively before your intended ally does. Choose the right moment to betray and destroy your opponents with a rain of thermonuclear bombs. If you make even one mistake, a devastating counterattack will bring you to your knees!

DEFCON is a truly frostbitten strategy. What could be more exciting than a global nuclear war that wipes humanity off the face of the Earth? You start small by moving troops into international waters, avoiding radar. Players then gain the ability to use aggressive tactics and wage non-nuclear warfare. Inspired by the 1983 movie “War Games”, this game is designed to make you feel nuclear war with all your heart and admire its awe-inspiring fire that wipes millions of people from the face of the earth. As someone interested in the topic of atomic hysteria, the Cold War and Fallout, and everything related to the nuclear theme, the author of the previous distribution advised to play this game under the American classics of the 40-60s (for example: YouTube: ck0NmJvivP8. Also, in order to feel the atmosphere of the game, its recommended watching Stanley Kubrick’s great film “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb”.
